Descubriendo The Blues Jamm Project, desde Londres para el mundo!!!!

Os presento The Blues Jamm Project, una banda que está arrasando en Londres.

Un sonido que  mezcla  blues, rock, funk que no te dejará indiferente , sin duda te emocionará y te hará querer más.

Viven con pasión lo que hacen y se nota. 

Lo dan todo y llevan la música dentro de cada uno de ellos.

Además de ser grandes artistas son unas personas realmente únicas y maravillosas.

Tengo la gran suerte de contar con la amistad de Jorge Martins que contestó a mi breve entrevista, la cual os adjunto y espero os resulte interesante.

Who are you?

 "We are The Blues JAMM Project! Originally a solo project by lead guitarist Jorge Martins, the band lay down its’ roots when Jorge and bassist Robin Churchill left a local indie-rock outfit to pursue their own path. Joined by Stuart “Banger” Nicks on drums and Fiona Sweeney on vocals and recently by Serge Colbourne on keys the band are the hottest thing out of Kingston since Rat Scabies stole his dad’s van!

 The Blues JAMM Project are:- Jorge AM Martins – Guitars Robin Churchill – Bass & Backing Vocals Stuart “Banger” Nicks – Drums Serge Colbourne – Keys Fiona Sweeney – Lead Vocals".

¿ Quiénes sois? 

"  Somos The Blues Jamm Project. Originalmente un proyecto en solitario del guitarrista Jorge Martins, la banda estableció sus raíces cuando Jorge y el bajista Robin Churchill dejaron un traje indie-rock local para seguir su propio camino.

Ingresado por Stuart "Banger" Nicks en la batería y Fiona Sweeney en la voz y recientemente por Serge Colbourne en el teclado de la banda ahora es lo más hot de Kingston.

What’s Your Sound?

 "From the soulful “New Orleans” to the rockin’ “Running for Free” via the tight funk of “Slap Blues JAMM” and the Chicago influenced “Playing the Blues”, the band’s sound comes from our shared love of soul, blues, r&b, rock and funk".

"Desde el soul " New Orleans" hasta el rockin " Running for Free" a través del estrecho funk de " Slap Blues Jamm" y el Chicago influenciado " Playing the Blues" el sonido de la banda proviene de nuestro amor compartido de soul, R & B, rock y funk".

Who Are Your Influences?

 "We all bring influences to the band through the different roads we have travelled:- Joe Bonamassa, ZZ Top, Robin Trower, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jackie Lynton, ELO, Supertramp, Dumpy’s Rusty Nuts, The Damned and The Who are just some of the great bands and people that have influenced us over the years."

" Todos traemos influencias a la banda de nuestros anteriores y diferentes caminos que hemos recorrido: oe Bonamassa, ZZ Top, Robin Trower, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jackie Lynton, ELO, Supertramp, Dumpy’s Rusty Nuts, The Damned and The Who , son sólo algunas de las personas y bandas que nos han influido."

So What’s Next for the Blues JAMM Project? 

"Following the success of our EP “The Powerhouse Sessions” and latest CD “Live at The Water Rats” we are working on a new CD of original material for release by the end of this year. We have gigs lined up as part of our 2017 tour and plan to tour Portugal and Germany at the end of this year and the beginning of 2018".

¿ Cuáles son vuestros próximos proyectos?

" Tras el éxito de nuestro EP " The Powerhouse Sessions" y el último CD " Live  at The Water Rats" Estamos trabajando en un nuevo CD de material original para su lanzamiento a finales de año. Tenemos conciertos parte de nuestra gira 2017 y planeamos viajar por Portugal y Alemania a final de este año y principios del 2018".
